I have always been a fan of the brand Versace, largely due to Gianni Versace and his connections with ’90s supermodels. This bag, however, truly demonstrates how exceptional the brand is. Maybe I’m overreacting—it’s just a bag. But the simplicity and subtle resemblance to the Birkin make it stand out even more, especially with the enlarged gold Medusa logo in the center. Parallel x Studio is another brand that I discovered on TikTok. It’s very Y2K-coded but has its own identity, creating pieces that I haven’t seen done before. They focus on womenswear, but many of their pieces can be worn by both genders. My favorite is this leather belt bag, which serves many purposes and can easily be worn as a crossbody bag too. The Bambi print is what really makes this bag unique; it also comes in plain brown leather. However, the Bambi print, which is already sold out, is a design I think we will see a lot more of. When I come across a brand like Yitai that not only makes colorful clothing but also knows how to incorporate several colors into one piece with such style and finish, I lose my mind. I discovered this brand back in January and have been keeping an eye on it since then.
